Michael is an electric industry expert with over 25 years in power grid reliability operations, contract management, and policy analysis. He specializes in transmission policy, contract negotiations, strategy, adapting to regulatory changes and NERC compliance. Currently a contract manager and transmission policy expert for Seattle City Light with a focus on the Bonneville Power Administration. Draws from experience as a NERC certified system operator, chief dispatcher, Naval nuclear power reactor operator on submarines, and eagle scout. In addition to military and life experience, formal education includes a master’s in finance and MBA.
