About me
Eric Haglund is currently the Chief Economist at the Colorado Public Utilities Commission, where he has worked since 2017. He manages the Commission's Economics Section and provides technical and policy analysis to the Commission in litigated proceedings involving electric and gas utilities. Eric enjoys the challenge of balancing the many competing goals inherent in utility regulation and considers it an immense privilege to be in a position to advocate for the public interest, broadly defined. Before joining the Commission Eric worked for many years in international development and international telecommunications markets.
